Scope:

This special issue aims to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to critically examine the interplay between law and society, with a focus on promoting social justice and protecting human rights. We invite original research articles, theoretical papers, and critical reviews that address the following topics:

The role of law in promoting social justice and equality, and the challenges to this goal in different societal contexts.

The impact of legal frameworks on marginalized communities and the ways in which law can be used to challenge systemic inequalities.

The relationship between law, power, and governance, and how legal institutions can be reformed to better serve the needs of society.

The intersections of law, social movements, and activism, and how these forces shape legal change.

The challenges to human rights protection in contemporary societies, including the role of law in addressing issues such as discrimination, violence, and exploitation.

The impact of globalization and transnational legal frameworks on social justice and human rights, including the challenges and opportunities presented by international human rights law.

We encourage contributions from scholars and practitioners across disciplines and regions, and we welcome comparative and interdisciplinary approaches to the topics outlined above. Our aim is to provide a platform for critical reflection and dialogue on the complex relationships between law and society, and to foster new ideas and approaches that can contribute to a more just and equitable world.
