Abstract

The United Nations , being one of the most important organs of the wourld and given the responsibilities assigned to it- the most important of which is preserving international peace and security – in addition to the powers granted to it – particularly powers under Chapter VII, addresses human rights issues since it is the cornerstone of preserving international peace and security and as the paramount objective.
