Abstract
The global economy today is witnessing a rapid shift toward adopting development policies that take into account the environmental dimension, in light of increasing environmental and economic challenges. Ecotourism is one of the most prominent alternatives that enhances opportunities for economic diversification. It contributes to sustainable development by preserving natural resources, creating local job opportunities, and stimulating local development.
