ASSESSING THE CURRICULAM TO ENHANCE QUALITY OF LIFE STANDARDS OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN TABUK REGION

Abstract
The aim of this study is assessing curricula of high schools given requirements to enhance the quality of life of high school students. Through a review of literature and previous studies , the components of quality of life were determined to build a list of Quality of Life standards and indicators. This study used a questionnaire to assess the Quality of Life standards. A questionnaire assessing the dimensions of Quality of Life standards including, mental (cognitive and emotional), physical, digital, and social health, and environmental awareness was prepared. A descriptive-analytical approach was used on a sample of 258 educational supervisors and teachers in Tabuk region. The results of this study indicated shortcomings in the high school curricula regarding developing components of quality of life and its standards and indicators. Results of the study also indicated that high school curricula incorporated few practices to improve students’ components quality of life. In addition, The Results of the study showed that No significant differences were found regarding job, gender, core subject, and years of experience.
