THE USE OF ADR IN RESOLVING DISPUTES RELATED TO SOCIAL MEDIA AND ONLINE PLATFORMS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The number of conflicts that needs to be resolved has grown due to the increasing role played by Social media and online platform. Thanks to the benefits such as reduced costs, more flexible ways of dealing with disputes, ADR has become an important tool to deal with social media and online platform issues. A number of possibilities are available through ADR, such as mediation, arbitration and negotiation. There are still issues, though, such a murky legal framework and trouble discovering and identifying parties. Despite these challenges, ADR provides a more collaborative, cost-effective, and adaptable process than traditional litigation. It offers a higher success rate and a greater likelihood of achieving a mutually satisfactory outcome. Therefore, ADR offers a useful tool for resolving conflicts related to social media and online platforms.
